My first swim

Mom and dad took me swimming for the first time today. We met Auntie Marci and her mom and nephew at the Skyline Pool in Denver. I went in the baby pool with mom, dad, and Marci. I wasn't sure exactly to think, but I didn't cry at all. I think I was more curious about it. This won't be my last time in the pool this summer, I just know it.

National Get Outdoors Day

I went to National Get Outdoors Day with mom. We met Daddy and cousins Reese and Chris there. It was in Denver's City Park. I even saw a great horned owl! I hope everyone had a chance to get outdoors that day!

My first plane ride

In May I made my first plane trip. I flew with mommy and daddy and we went to visit my Minnesota relatives. My gramee and papa Cullen planned two open houses so people could come meet me. We had so much fun. Mom and dad also went out (without me, if you can believe it). Their friends James and Rebecca Grandin got married in Minneapolis...at the Pavilion on Nicollet Island. They did take me to the brunch the next day...and I had a lot of fun meeting more people. Mom and dad said we would be back to MN soon enough. I definitely had fun!

Hiking Colorado

Dressed in the right gear, we headed out for our first hike with Cullen James. Penelope and Dutchess joined us for a tour of Arrowhead, CO.

Anyone want to go for a run?

Cullen was thrilled to check out his new, roomy Chariot running stroller. Now we recognize this isn't how you actually strap your child into the stroller...but by the look on Cullen's face, he didn't mind. We finally figured it out and went out for a comfy ride (this thing has shocks...cool). We are looking forward to many trips around the park this summer. Just call if you want to join us.

The camera loves him...so do we :o)

Cullen has been smiling and chatting more and more. Joe got this hat for Cullen a while ago. We tried it on Sunday (Mother's Day) and just starting snapping pictures. This is mommy's favorite of the bunch. He doesn't know what a "ham" he is...at least not yet. Don't you just want to snuggle him?

Smiles

Our favorite thing in the past few weeks has been Cullen's smiles and attempts at laughing. It just melts your heart! He actually wakes up like this. What did we do to deserve such a happy baby? We aren't sure, but we are certainly thrilled with him.

Welcome Cullen James

On Friday March 13 at 3:50am our little angel was born. We couldn't wait to meet our little man and he finally arrived. What a sweetheart!
